Job Title: Product Line Analyst.  Job Location: Nigeria - Port Harcourt.     
Business Unit: Business Support Service - Finance.

JOB PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for the maintenance of general ledger
Accounts for assigned product lines. This position is accountable for the timely preparation of monthly journal entries and the reconciliation of the accounts and related schedules for assigned product lines.
               
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain monthly general ledger, including accruals schedules for assigned product lines in line with GAAP to ensure smooth Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.
  • Monthly analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts, reporting any variances, wrongly captured costs to the Finance Manager, Financial Controller and Product Line Managers.
  • Prepare & input journal entries (monthly, adjusting, recurring)
  • Prepare Quarterly balance sheet and P&L Fluctuation Analysis  
  • Prepare Monthly expense variance analysis reports for assigned product lines  
  • Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance with SOx and internal policies.
  • Interfacing with Product Line Managers and explaining the product line P&L to them and answering their queries.
  • Prepare audit working papers for assigned Product lines during external/internal audits               
  • Assist in special projects
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the Finance Manager or the Finance Controller
QUALIFICATIONS 
B. Sc Accounting
Professional qualifications progression will be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS/COMPETENCE
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong technical accounting background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the organization.
  • Strong understanding of the accounting cycle.
  • Intermediate level of Excel and Word skills.
  • Good computer knowledge and excel proficiency

Job Purpose:
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment.
  • The primary responsibility of Field Technician is to deliver high quality services to our clients.
  • Field Technician is responsible for ensuring that the preparation and dispatching of equipment is complete.
  • Field Technician is also responsible to inspect/check the equipment when received at the wellsite for possible damage/malfunction during transportation.
  • Field Technician is directly responsible for the quality of service delivered at the wellsite, in terms of safety, quality and efficiency of operation.
  • Setup and Operates RCD/MFC control systems. 
  • Conducts maintenance of RCD/MFC control systems equipment at job site and workshop.
  • Has strong Electrical/Mechanical knowledge that allows the RCD/MFC Control Systems Specialist to troubleshoot wellsite equipment failures
  • Is responsible for own continuous development to become capable to run the service in difficult and non-routine environments
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Equipment rig-up and rig-down on each well.
  • Perform various duties around the managed pressure drilling choke manifold, data acquisitions system, rotating control head, separation equipment, fluid handling and transfer systems, ensuring that all procedures are followed in accordance with the safety precautions and practices. 
  • Operate and Monitor rotating control head, choke manifold and separation system, with sampling and manual data recording.
  • Perform maintenance and system checks at the well site.
  • Perform repairs and troubleshooting in case of equipment failure.
  • To advise and assist the Supervisor with any pre-activity safety meeting action points that should be discussed
  • To fully learn and ensure the compliance of, and the implementation, of all QHSE procedures during the operational activity
  • Responsible for QHSE procedures and documentation on site for specific shift.
  • Conduct themselves in a professional manner while on or off the rig site
  • The job requires direct contact with the other crew members and Customer Representatives as well as other Services on location.
  • Perform green tag procedures in the workshop or the field.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance as per the checklist.
Skills / Competency/ Knowledge:
  • This job is an experienced operation position for RCD / MicrofluxTM control systems. Trainees and post-School personnel are expected to evolve fast and be capable of running the service independently in a routine environment. The candidate is expected to continue developing until he/she reaches a competency level to run the service in difficult and non-routine environment.  
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Hands on training required on valves, chokes, HPU and flow meter and pass certification on the following theoretical courses available on the web. Refer to SD Training Matrix      
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong computer software skills, basic networking and ability to troubleshoot a connection.
  • Long shifts, regularly 12 hours on site.
  • Requires extensive travel both domestically and internationally and extended stays away from home.
  • Skills in electronics, PLC systems and IT.
  • Knowledge of analog and digital electronics, soldering techniques, oscilloscopes are an advantage
  • Hands-on mechanical skills and redressing gate valves and replacing bearings.
Qualification required:
  • Technical Degree related to the Oil & Gas Industry or related experience
  • Previous field experience in Electrical / Mechanical technology.
